ARTIST STATEMENT
I AM INSPIRED BY THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE, THE THINGS THAT MAKE US THE SAME, THE THINGS THAT KEEP US DIFFERENT, AND THE DECISIONS WE MAKE. AS AN ARTIST I AM NOTED FOR POETIC COMPOSITIONS USING WORDS AND IMAGES. FOR ME, A SINGLE WORD IS A PICTURE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS, AND ITS MEANING IS IN CONSTANT FLUX. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR ME TO CREATE PUBLIC WORKS THAT ARE NOT MERELY DECORATIVE BUT WILL INSPIRE DEEPER REFLECTION ON THE WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE. IT IS THE DECIPHERING AND EMBRACING OF MULTIPLE READINGS THAT ALLOW US TO ENTER NEW WORLDS AND PERSPECTIVES.
